The Moon Mini was a commission work from Leyland Australia. They asked Alan to do something great with the Mini!

Strongly influenced by the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, Alan designed this piece of artwork on wheels.  

The Moon Mini was featured at the Leyland stand at Melbourne Motor Show of  1976 and Sydney Royal Easter Show of 1976.

Unfortunately, after these two shows, the Moon Mini was no longer of interest for Leyland Australia and the car was repainted and sold.

Alan Puckett passed away on the 9th October, 2009, after a short illness. This site celebrates his memory...

The Moon Mini (La Mini en la Luna) fue un trabajo comisionado por Leyland Australia, quienes le pidieron a Alan hacer algo maravilloso con la Mini!

Fuertemente influenciado por el film 2001: Odisea del Espacio, Alan diseña esta pieza de arte sobre ruedas.

The Moon Mini fue expuesta en el stand de Leyland en El Salón del Automóvil de Melbourne y el Royal Ester Show de Sydney en 1976.

Lamentablemente,  después de estos dos shows, la Mini no era de interés para Leyland Australia y el Mini fue repintado.

Alan Puckett murió de una corta enfermedad el 9 de Octubre del 2009. Esta pagina esta dedicada a su memoria.
